Msuna Safaris and Travel is a Zimbabwean registered company that was incorporated in June 2004 with an original objective of providing Car Rental Services. At the time of incorporation Msuna Safaris and Travel started operating mainly as a car hire company with four vehicles and the fleet has since grown to over twenty. The company has since then spread its tentacles to have interests in travel and ticketing, tours and safaris as well as accommodation services.

Msuna Safaris and Travel prides itself of being part of the Brokenwill Group of companies which includes Exor Petroleum, Mako Haulage, Mako Construction and several other diverse interests

Tourism Investment Portfolio

Msuna Safaris and Travel is seeking to diversify its product portfolio and would want to be a key player in sustainable tourism development. Msuna Safaris will be one of the key players in the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park in developing Safari Camps that are ecologically friendly and construction is also underway for the development of an exclusive safari lodge in Victoria Falls. Msuna has also signed a lease agreement with Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority for Safari Camp developments in Gonarezhou (4 sites), Binga Resort on Chisai and Nandawi Islands on Lake Kariba, Kalisosa in Victoria Falls and Kandahar Island on the Zambezi River in Victoria Falls for eco–friendly activities.

Msuna Safaris and Travels has invested a lot in the development of tourism in Zimbabwe and some of the major projects that are expected to role out of the company’s profile.

Management

Thomas has a working experience of over 27 years in Administration and Finance. He has worked as a Director of Administration and Finance at the transformation of Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority into a commercial entity. He set up the structure of the Authority for its transformation and successfully turned the Authority from a government department to a viable self-sustaining institution. Prior to this, Thomas had served as a Chief Finance Officer in the Public Service.

Thomas is a holder of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) UZ and a Bachelor of Accountancy Honours Degree (B Acc. Hons.) UZ.

Proud Katsamba is the General Manager responsible for Car Hire and Tours.
He spent 14 years working for the United Touring Group’s Hertz Car Hire division where he was actively involved in the day-to-day operations and financial management of the division.
Proud is a holder of a Diploma in Business Studies, I.C.B., (SA) and the Royal Society of Arts and Advanced Single Subjects from I.A.C., (SA). He is a member of I.C.B. (SA) and I.A.B., (UK). He is currently studying for an Accounting Science Degree with the Zimbabwe Open University.
